Upgrades to UW’s Perinatal PCL; CME Available for Case Conference Series

The University of Washington’s Perinatal Psychiatry Consultation Line is available weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Physicians can now call in with questions related to co-morbid substance use and mental health. Dial 877-725-4666 or email ppcl@uw.edu to connect. (UW also has a general-use psychiatric consultation line, which is available 24-7 at 877-WA-PSYCH [877-927-7924].)

UW will again offer free CME as part of its Moms’ Access Project ECHO case conference series. Facilitated by a multidisciplinary team including perinatal and addiction psychiatrists, OB/GYNs, maternal fetal medicine experts, and others, the program aims to increase front-line provider capacity to address common perinatal behavioral health conditions and infant mental health. The program format is a brief didactic followed by in-depth case presentation and discussion.

The series will run on the first Wednesday of each month, starting in October and ending in July 2023. Registration is now open.
