Current Opportunities
WAFP supports high school students exploring careers in medicine through Washington HOSA. You can help! By volunteering to speak with a student from Washington state, you will share your experience and help them explore a future in family medicine.
Requests typically come in between November and February. Each conversation lasts about 30 minutes and gives students a chance to ask questions and learn directly from someone in practice. Interested in participating? Email info@wafp.net, and WAFP staff will contact you when a request comes in.

The Holy Disciples Health Ministry is looking for a physician volunteer to present to their congregation. Their mission is to promote the well-being of church members and the community by offering programs and resources that address physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. August 23rd is set for the first presentation, and there is an opportunity for one in November and March. Must live in Pierce or King County and not "selling" any product or service.
