Local Chapters

The Washington Academy of Family Physicians has 17 component chapters, each comprised of one or more counties. To find your local chapter, scroll down to the map at the bottom of the page.

Local chapters help develop policy; support members; connect medical students, residents and practicing physicians; and strengthen the voice of family medicine through advocacy. Chapters also support their communities through volunteer projects and healthcare leadership.

Local chapter leaders are instrumental in facilitating chapter meetings, managing chapter resources and recruiting delegates to represent the chapter at the WAFP House of Delegates meeting each spring. (As it pertains to the House of Delegates, residents and medical students have their own statewide chapters.)

Please visit your local chapter page to connect with physicians in your area. If your chapter does not list an officer, please contact the WAFP office, and we will connect you locally!
