Registration Open for KSA on Pain Medicine
Join us on Saturday, Oct. 26, for a virtual KSA on pain medicine. Registration is now open!
If you’ve never attended a KSA before, these CME events are sponsored by the American Board of Family Medicine. Attendees complete a 60-question knowledge self-assessment (KSA) as a group, and the sessions are led by a moderator and topic expert. The moderator for the October KSA is Angela Sparks, MD, FAAFP, and the topic expert is Pamela Pentin, MD, JD, FAAFP.
Upon successful completion of the KSA, attendees may claim 10 Certification Points with ABFM as well as 8.00 CME credits from AAFP (see below). Unique to the Pain Medicine KSA is that approximately 2/3 of the questions concern appropriate opioid prescribing and are eligible for requirements spelled out by the Medication Access and Training Expansion (MATE) Act.
Resident physicians may attend free of charge. The cost for others is $175.
The AAFP has reviewed KSA: Pain Medicine and deemed it acceptable for up to 8.00 Knowledge Self-Assessment, Live AAFP Prescribed credit(s). Term of Approval is from 10/26/2024 to 10/26/2024. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
