The Bree Collaborative, established by the state legislature in 2011 to bring together public and private stakeholders to identify improvements to health care quality, outcomes, and affordability, is spotlighting two of its recommendations this month.
On Wednesday, Dec. 7, at noon, the Collaborative will highlight its recommendation on opioid prescribing in older adults. During the webinar, members of the workgroup which created the recommendation will discuss their process, the recommendations for improving pain management and patient outcomes, and how people across the spectrum of health care can enact change by utilizing the recommendations. Registration is open for this event.
On Dec. 14, also at noon, outpatient infection control will be the topic of another recommendation spotlight. Specific topics to be covered include preventative measures, minimizing exposure, and addressing community spread. Register for the infection control webinar here.
A recommendation on the hepatitis C virus has been finalized; download the recommendation here.
