Child WCV 2023 Clinic Resources

The Department of Health has new resources for 2023 for those serving Medicaid Managed Care patients aged 21 and under. The MCOs and the DOH have collaborated to compile a list of the currently offered 2023 rewards parents can earn for clinics to use when reminding parents that their child is due or overdue for a well-care visit. They have also created an extended list which references all the preventive rewards. Some clinics find that patients are more willing to schedule an appointment knowing it is included in the rewards program. The DOH has also partnered with Whatcom County Health & Community Services to adapt their “Babies and Kids Can’t Wait” videos to expand the audience to the whole state. All resources can be found here.
