2025 WAFP Poster Symposium

WAFP received poster submissions from residents and medical students across the state. Thank you to all of those who took time to share your research with us!

The competition showcases scholarship from medical students, undergraduates, and family medicine residents. Participants engage with WAFP members and receive thoughtful feedback and encouragement on their submissions.

Abstract winners prepare a poster and short video presentation, and their abstracts are published in Washington Family Physician. Poster winners will be awarded in the following: Overall 1^st Place, $1,200; Overall 2^nd Place, $800; Overall 3^rd Place, $400.

Poster Symposium

Posters are displayed at the Academy’s House of Delegates on April 25, 2025, and voted on by the approximately 150 family medicine leaders in attendance. The Academy posts video presentations on the WAFP website where all Academy members are invited to view them and offer comments. Once video submissions are received, this year's entries will be linked below.

The Academy notifies the winners in each category no later than May 25, 2025. For more information, contact alyssa@wafp.net.
