KSA – Care of Women
Join WAFP for an in-person Family Medicine Certification Knowledge Self-Assessment (KSA) group study activity. The facilitated discussion format moves the group through important teaching points with the faculty team; the virtual platform and presence of a peer expert encourages discussion, questions for the expert, analysis of possible responses and improved learning. The WAFP topic expert is Dr. Emily Godfrey.
The Care of Women KSA focuses on having a better understanding of the unique health care needs as well as common medical conditions experienced by gender-identified women including gynecologic conditions and reproductive health, diagnosis and treat behavioral and mental health conditions in female patients, increasing knowledge and understanding of pre-conception care and prenatal care and being better prepared to diagnose and manage conditions experienced during and after pregnancy.
The cost of the activity is $175.00, which covers program costs, staff and faculty activities, and a copy of the self-assessment for review. Residents may attend at no charge. WAFP staff submits the answers and communicates member participation to ABFM. Session begins at 8:30 a.m. and can run up to 8 hours.
