2022 AAFP National Conference

The premiere networking event for medical students, the National Conference of Family Medicine Residents & Medical Students, returns this summer! Meet with faculty and current residents at programs in Washington and across the country. Keynote remarks are presented by family medicine’s most prominent leaders, and educational sessions cover numerous areas of interest to medical students.

Concurrently, the National Congress of Family Medicine Residents and National Congress of Student Members convene. Represent WAFP as the congresses debate policy and elect constituent leaders who will serve on the AAFP Board of Directors.

Travel stipends are available from both AAFP and WAFP; both organizations strive to help as many medical students attend as we can. WAFP will consider applications for travel stipends once AAFP has announced its awardees. If you have any questions, email Alyssa McEachran at alyssa@wafp.net.
