2026 Poster Symposium 

The annual Washington Academy of Family Physicians (WAFP) Poster Symposium was held at the 2026 House of Delegates in May.

Each year, the competition showcases scholarship from medical students and family medicine residents. Participants whose abstracts are selected for the competition create a poster and short video presentations, and their abstracts are published in Washington Family Physician. Poster winners will be awarded: $1,000 for overall first place; $750 for overall second place; and $500 for overall third place.
