All licensed physicians in Washington State have access to HEALWA, an online library of evidence-based resources including journal articles, patient education, ebooks and databases. HEALWA was created by the Washington State Legislature to improve patient care in Washington State. HEALWA provides access to the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), maintains a document delivery service to obtain requested articles HEALWA does not subscribe to, and provides online training to allow users to take advantage of resources to assist with patient care decisions.
