2021 marks the 50th anniversary of the 1971 founding of the University of Washington Department of Family Medicine. To mark the occasion, the department is planning a monthly virtual speaker series to highlight some of the graduates, alumni, and members of our UW and WWAMI family medicine community as well as their successes and the wisdom they have gained during their careers.
Our first speaker is Dr. Antonio Dajer, UW Family Medicine Residency class of 1986. Dr. Dajer will speak about lessons he has learned during his post-residency career, a career that includes time working as a hospital medical director in Nicaragua, service on the Navajo reservation, his ER shift in Lower Manhattan during the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and working on the front lines as an NYC ER director during the COVID pandemic.
Please register to join us on Thursday, January 7 at 5 p.m. The lecture is open to all, but registration is required.
