Updates on the 2022 Family Medicine Advocacy Day

The 2022 Family Medicine Advocacy Day will be held virtually on Tuesday, Feb. 8. The decision to again hold a virtual format was due to the continued uncertainty about accessibility to the Capitol campus. The change in date was made to avoid travel conflicts with the 2021 Congress of Delegates special session, which will be held in Kansas City, MO, on Feb. 5 and 6.

We anticipate that the format will remain the same: a large-group session in the morning to discuss WAFP priorities and talking points with individual legislator meetings after lunch. As with the 2021 FMAD, legislator meetings may occur on days later in the week; while we will strive to keep as many meetings as possible on one day, occasionally legislator and staff availability do not allow for that.

Registration is open! We look forward to seeing you for 2022 FMAD.
