The University of British Columbia is hosting a virtual CME day focused on “back to the basics” palliative care on Oct. 22. The event, chaired by Dr. Pippa Hawley and Dr. Adam Fowler, will feature sessions on delirium, pain, orphan symptoms, nausea, renal failure, and goals of oncology care, all within the context of palliative care.
The event is available online and begins at 8:15 a.m. For more information, including a full agenda, faculty bios, and costs, visit the event’s website.
Attendees may claim CME credit from the event, which is accredited by the College of Family Physicians of Canada. CFPC has a reciprocity agreement with the American Academy of Family Physicians, allowing US physicians to claim credit as well.
