Firearm Injury Prevention Education Pilot in High School Health Classes

Research focus: In 2020, firearm-related injuries became the leading cause of death among youth in the United States. While a range of interventions aimed at preventing firearm injury among youth exist, the number of firearm-related injuries continues to rise. This educational outreach pilot aimed to assess the need and receptivity for firearm injury prevention education in high school settings.
