Research focus: Patient access to abortion in the post-Dobbs era has changed dramatically in the United States. Full-spectrum reproductive healthcare falls within the scope of family medicine (FM); however, few family physicians currently provide abortion care. It is uncertain if this trend in family practice will continue or change. This study assessed and characterized interest in providing abortion care among medical students with a strong interest in FM.
