WAFP and major AAFP events of interest to medical students and residents are published below. Both organizations host events specifically catered to family medicine residents and medical students interested in family medicine: the WAFP's Student & Resident Retreat, usually held in January or February, and the AAFP's National Conference, usually held in late July in Kansas City, MO.
