Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Cancer Survivors Access to Care in Rural Washington

Research focus: The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted cancer care among rural cancer survivors. Northwest Health Education and Research Outcomes Network, Washington State University’s practice-based research network, partnered with rural Washington primary care practices to examine the experiences of cancer survivors during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of our study was to examine rural cancer patients’ perceptions of the impact of COVID-19 on their access to care.
