The Annual Chapter Leader Forum (ACLF), is the AAFP’s conference dedicated to help chapter leaders develop governance skills and learn about the newest association trends.
Drawing more than 200 attendees each year, ACLF features targeted breakout sessions on chapter governance, advocacy and communication, among other topics.
ACLF encourages participants to:
- Make connections and share ideas
- Learn new strategies and techniques to succeed
- Build stronger relationships with peers and AAFP leadership
- Refine leadership skills
- Engage in important dialogue about chapters
The WAFP sends its President-Elect and Vice President to the conference to hone skills, network with other chapter leaders and stay abreast of issues that affect family medicine.
Other WAFP members are welcome to attend as general registrants, as this conference provides a great orientation for emerging leaders who serve, or who are interested in serving, on chapter boards. Please see the AAFP website for registration and additional information.
The next ACLF will be held April 26-27, 2017, in Kansas City, MO.
