MCO Incentives for Well-Child Visits Through Dec. 31

The Washington State Department of Health wants to remind family physicians that managed care organizations (MCOs) are offering rewards/incentives for completion of eligible well-care visits for children up to age 21 (older ages may go to the patient). The MCOs and DOH have compiled a list of rewards parents can earn and clinics can use to remind parents that their child is due/overdue for a full checkup. The list also includes what action is needed for the parents to collect the reward (sports checkups are not included). Among the MCOs included are Amerigroup, Community Health Plan of Washington, Coordinated Care, Molina Healthcare, and United Healthcare.
