MaMHA Offering Free CME for Maternal-Child Health Care Providers

Washington Maternal Mental Health Access (MaMHA) is offering three webinars to physicians and other health care workers to help lower the suicide risk and accidental opioid overdose in their perinatal patients. The webinar schedule:

  • Sept. 15, 8-9 a.m.: Pregnancy Associated Deaths Due to Suicide
  • Sept. 22, 8-9 a.m.: Pregnancy Associated Deaths Due to Accidental Opioid Overdose
  • Sept. 29, 8-9 a.m.: Ways to Change Your Practice to Address Pregnancy Associated Deaths

Participants can be expected to learn how to address and lower suicide risk and accidental opioid overdose in their perinatal patient population; deliver improved clinical interventions and approaches to address gaps in care (screening, coordinated care, treatment options); and direct effective practice change to address pregnancy associated deaths.

The webinars can be claimed for a maximum of three AMA PRA Category 1 Credits (each session is 1.0 credit). If you are unable to participate in the live webinars, recordings will be available for CME credit beginning on Oct. 1. There is no cost to participate in the webinars.
