The Washington State Department of Health and the Medicaid Managed Care Organizations, in partnership with the Washington State Health Care Authority, will host a webinar on Thursday, Feb. 25, to discuss what’s new with well-child visits in 2021.

The webinar will run twice that day, at 7:45 a.m. and 12:05 p.m.; both are scheduled to last an hour and 15 minutes.

Attendees will learn about the newest well-care visit measures (W30 and WCV); strategies to raise well-care visit rates in clinics; and stipends to improve well-care visit rates to accomplish empanelment and outreach for the Medicaid population.

The presenter will be Beth Harvey, MD, past president of the Washington Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. DOH has applied for AAFP CME credits for the event. Physicians, other providers, clinic staff, MAs, and other clinic staff members are encouraged to attend.
