Key Contacts is a grassroots program of the Washington Academy of Family Physicians which encourages its members to get to know his or her legislators and to communicate with them regularly about issues of importance to family physicians and their patients.

During the legislative session, the Academy’s Legislative Agenda, as well as Legislative Updates are posted on the website.  Members in the Key Contacts program should stay current on Academy policy and initiatives, and be comfortable speaking on behalf of the Academy and according to adopted policies.

The WAFP communicates with its Key Contact members primarily by e-mail to alert and inform of current legislation and its effect on patients and the field of family medicine. Consider joining us this year and make the voice of family medicine even stronger.

If you want to participate contact the WAFP office by phone at (425) 747-3100, by email at, or complete the form below.
