According to the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine (NASEM), primary care accounts for 35% of health care visits in America, yet it only receives about 5% of all health care expenditures in our nation. It’s time we changed that.
Next Wednesday May 26th, at 6:30pm Eastern, the AAFP will co-host a briefing on the NASEM Report with 7 other primary care organizations. The program will feature Carrie Colla, PhD (The Dartmouth Institute) and Tumaini Rucker Coker, MD, MBA (University of Washington & Seattle Children’s) to present on the NASEM report. The event will be a live streamed on the AAFP Facebook channel.
